new visuals for the track ‘theme from the evil behind my eyes’

a while ago, i started working on an album with the working title ‘the evil behind my eyes’. it was supposed to be an album about places that were important to serial killers. after a lot of thinking, i shelved this project, so the only track that i finished is ‘theme from the evil behind my eyes’ which was about Andrei Romanowitsch Tschikatilo (if you’re interested, you can read more about his story here).

the track was originally released on the ‘baby satan compilation volume 1’ by my lovely friends running the baby satan label. it’s available on bandcamp and iTunes among others.

i’m going to play this track live for the first time at the concert at 8mm bar on december 10th, so i created some visuals for the track.

review of baby satan records #1 from schmutz magazine

isn’t it nice if there’s a nice little record label doing some actual promo? ‘schmutz’ magazine reviewed the new baby satan records #1 compilation and they seem to like my track. thanks for kind words!

The Hollow Man is evil and we love it. Western doom-goth Soundtrack is a genre right? With “Theme From ‘Evil Behind My Eyes’” we’re a little bit scared, a little bit turned on. The track is a haunting slow groove with doom-jazz drums and swirling drones reminiscent of Bohren & der Club of Gore at their oozing peak.
